We welcomed our founding students to Qianhai, Shenzhen, in 2019. Seven years on, our community has grown to more than 1,000 students from over 10 countries. Our teaching team includes graduates of Harvard, Oxford, Cambridge, Columbia, Peking University and Tsinghua University.
Over those years, our curriculum and school culture have continued to develop. Our students have excelled in international competitions, discovered their interests and developed their talents in the fields they love. Our redesigned website and new Huitong Brochure bring these developments together, offering a fuller picture of our educational approach, school life and community.

Our redesigned website is now live. With a fresh look and straightforward navigation, it makes our educational philosophy, curriculum and community life easier to explore.
A New Look, with Familiar Features
Our distinctive tree illustrations remain central to the website’s visual identity, complemented by a clean, contemporary design. A new illustration of our educational framework uses interwoven waves to show how strong academic foundations connect with new approaches to learning. It explains how we balance traditional and new approaches to education to develop graduates who are Scholarly, Creative, Articulate, Well-Rounded and Impactful.
Understanding Our Curriculum
Our curriculum starts with the qualities students will need to navigate future opportunities and challenges. We then work backwards: what experiences and support will help them develop those qualities? The website introduces our three core programmes: Academic Programme, Signature Programme and Studios Programme. You can explore what each offers, understand the thinking behind its design and see how the three work together to support our graduate profile.
A Personalised Path for Every Student
You can also discover how our tutor system connects students with resources and opportunities across the school. With ongoing, personalised guidance, students explore their academic interests, develop their potential and shape a path that reflects their strengths and aspirations.
Our Community
The community section offers a window into everyday life at Huitong. Our students collaborate on projects, perform on stage and compete on the sports field. Our teachers guide them in the classroom and offer support and encouragement beyond it. Our parents contribute to school life through events and shared projects. You can also explore our school activities, initiatives developed with the Parent Committee and the cultural diversity that alumni from different countries and regions bring to our community.

Launched alongside our website, the new Huitong Brochure tells our founding story in greater detail, shares moments from our classrooms and introduces the students and teachers who shape our school.
